The Stratosphere Tour · 2026
Higher every night.
Twelve dates. Most of them airborne. All of them louder than the venue's noise ordinance permits. Tickets via the band's longtime promoter, who does not have a website.
- May29
Marina del Rey Rooftop
Marina del Rey, CA — origin location
Held (origin show)The show went ahead on May 29th, on the roof it was born over, the airship holding low enough to rattle the pool furniture. Sold out remains accurate; it is simply also, now, behind us. - Jun07
Goodyear Hangar B
Carson, CA
CancelledOur appeal has been heard and denied. Goodyear restated 'no public access,' this time in bold, and attached a paragraph about the helium. The band has filed an appeal of the denial. - Jun14
Pasadena Rose Bowl — North Lot
Pasadena, CA
Held (parking lot)Parking lot show. Bowl unavailable due to a graduation. The show went ahead on June 14th in the lot anyway, cap and gown nowhere in sight. - Jul02
Lakehurst Memorial Park
Lakehurst, NJ — airspace only
Held (disputed)The show went ahead on July 2nd, in the airspace above the memorial field, the band never having landed and the trust never having confirmed. The trust's refusal stands. The band continues to await written confirmation of a concert that has already taken place. - Aug11
Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta
Albuquerque, NM
Held (uninvited)The band performed on August 11th, at dawn, from a station held above the Balloon Fiesta field — the headlining dawn ascension the festival had, in writing, un-invited. The equipment was never lowered and the airship never landed; the set happened entirely in the air, over ground measured out for lighter craft. The Fiesta's un-invitation stands. The band continues to await written confirmation of a slot it was specifically not given. - Sep20
An empty parking lot, somewhere
Location withheld
Sold Out (Location Withheld)Coordinates went out to ticket-holders by text 90 minutes before showtime, under a marine layer that admitted no landmarks. The airship found the lot; the audience found the airship; no one has since agreed on the city. The show went ahead on September 20th over a lot the band declines to name even in the past tense — a lot that has hosted a show being, by the band's account, more withheld, not less. The band is awaiting written confirmation that a place it will not disclose held a concert it will not locate. - Dec06
Riverside Fairgrounds — Lot C
Riverside, CA
Held (Lot C)The show went ahead on December 6th, over Lot C — the larger lot, at a volume the band declines to quantify. Water2Fine held their standing Sunday slot in the adjacent Lot B and finished, softly, before noon; the airship kept its shadow mostly on Lot C, as promised, so the service next door was not interrupted by the fact of us. Earplugs were provided; folding chairs were not. The band is awaiting written confirmation that the show has ended.
Seven dates are listed above. The tour is twelve. The other five are memorial and venue dates the band has booked and the venues in question have declined to acknowledge booking; by policy the band publishes no date until the venue that refused it confirms, in writing, having refused it. So the five are held — real, sold, and awaiting confirmation — and will post here the moment Lakehurst and its peers admit on letterhead that they said no. The count is not short. The count is patient. It has always been twelve.
All shows weather-permitting, helium-permitting, and pending the band's ability to locate one another.
